Texas' Littlejohn wins Player of the Week award
It's the 6th time that the American League Player of 
the Week award goes to Texas' designated hitter <a 
href=p29.html>Henry Littlejohn</a>. Henry pounded opposing 
pitchers, hitting .500 with 4 HR and 15 RBI while slugging 
1.125. Littlejohn has hit for a .338 average this season. 
He has 59 extra base hits along with 227 total bases, 
resulting in a .614 slugging percentage. It's the 1st 
time that the National League Player of the Week award 
goes to Portland's first baseman <a href=p607.html>Arthur 
Horrell</a>. Arthur was on fire, hitting .643 with 
3 HR and 9 RBI. He hit in every game this week and 
extended his hitting streak to 17 games. Arthur is 
hitting .369 this year, with 138 hits in 374 at bats. 
He has driven in 73 runs, slugging .500. He's 5th in 
the National League in batting!
